Half past forgotten.

“EVERY TIME YOU REMEMBER A MEMORY, YOU’RE REMEMBERING THE LAST TIME YOU REMEMEBERED THAT MEMORY.”

This series is my exploration with the existential topic of memory. The intangibility and delicate nature of our recalled thoughts.

I used multiple childhood photos, selected from a small collection that has been accumulated and protected over the years, for my inspiration and reference photos. Altering and exaggerating some aspects to insinuate the erosion of memory.

This series became very therapeutic and retrospective for me. Extremely difficult at times and extremely rewarding at others.
