“breaking point”

“Breaking Point” is a piece inspired by my experience with scoliosis and chronic back pain.

Made entirely out of found and recycled martial. Nails and wood are tacked together to create the base. Then collage of magazine, paper, books, paint, nails and a little bit of blood are applied on top. I took inspiration of biological diagrams, as well as my own chronic pain.

Purchased by Appalachian State Plemmons Student Union for their permanent Appalachian Artist collection. Aswell as on view at the “New Aquisition’s Wall” located in The Plemmons Student Union till March 2024.
